Meet Our Team

Dr Sue Chaney

Veterinary Surgeon (BVSc., MVS)

Sue has been a partner of the practice since 2009 and sole owner since March 2018. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1993, and completed a Masters degree in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Murdoch University in 1999, with a particular interest in surgery, dermatology and clinical pathology.   In addition to her family, she shares her home with two Shih Tzus named Corky and Wanda, as well as a very special cat Indy.    Indy became part of the family most recently via Cheltenham Cat Rescue.  In her spare time, Sue enjoys reading, multi-day hiking in Tasmania and New Zealand and playing bass guitar.

Dr Aaron Teh

Veterinary Surgeon (BSc., DVM)

Aaron has recently graduated from the University of Melbourne and joined the clinic as a full-time vet associate. He has a particular interest in small animal medicine. Aaron lives with his family in Bayside and despite his favourite animal being the polar bear, owns an affectionate rough collie along with three backyard chickens. In his spare time he enjoys following the English Premier League, playing futsal and watching TV shows.

Nicole Cafarella

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Nicole has worked at the practice for more than 30 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.  She is a fully qualified veterinary nurse, who lives with an Australian Shepherd (Merlo) and cheeky cat Marvin.

Eithan Giles

Eithan started working here since July 2018 since he started studying towards his Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. He is a bit in love with any member of the Avian family as he has already got six birds in the house as well as a mop on legs otherwise known as a Hungarian Puli.

Lisa Meggitt

Lisa joined the practice in 2012, after she and her husband moved to Melbourne from the UK.  They can be spotted on a Sunday morning kayaking around Mornington.  Lisa also lives with Sox, the adopted cat from next door.

Lis Fletcher

Lis started at the clinic in November 2017.  She was originally a Legal Secretary, but over the past 10 years has followed her passion for animals. After volunteering at animal shelters around the world, she joined RSPCA and the Lost Dogs Home.  Lis has 4 cats – Minush and Nanuq from Canada, Poddie the 3-legged fellow from the Netherlands and now, after 8 years of fostering, Yodi.
